The Ministry of Telecommunications has slashed its Internet dial-up connection prices. Connecting via telephone line for Internet access will now cost you less with the new flat rate on dial-up. Connection charges range from L.L.19,000 to L.L.396,000 per month depending on how much you connect. To benefit from these new rates, all you need to do is dial one of Destination's 4-Digit dial-up numbers.

Each month, your phone bill will be charged a flat rate fee for connecting to all new 4-digit dial-up numbers. Depending on the number of hours that you used during the month, the flat rate will be determined. The following table lists the monthly usage brackets and their flat fees:

No. It is only providing the new rate for the phone bill when you use the Internet.

Yes.

Yes. This service will automatically work from your existing land line.

Your Internet Monthly flat rate will appear separately on your phone bill at the end of each month, depending on the bracket used.

Since the billing is done from OGERO's side, different phone lines have different phone bills and they do not correspond to your Destination user account. Be careful when using this service: Use it from one predefined line!

If you connect for less than 10 minutes per month, you will be billed the regular tarrif of 35 LL / minute. Once you exceed 10 minutes of usage the flat rate of 19,000 LL will apply.

You will move up to the next bracket of usage. If you connect for exaactly 25 hours, you will be billed 19,000 LL. If you connect for 25 hours and one minute, you will be billed 39,000 LL. Be careful when you are at the edges of usage.

What happens if I don't use the 4-Digit number and keep dialing the regular 6-Digit number? Will I be charged anything from the new flat rate?  (back to top)
No, you can continue to use the 6-digit numbers and the flat rate will not apply. Be careful not to dial the 4-digit number for more than 10 minutes a month if you do not want to use it!

If you use more than 12 hours per month, it is better for use the 4-digit number. Keep in mind that when we say that, we are assuming you will be connecting from ONE telephone line.

Yes. Dial directly and do not worry about area codes.

Login to http://admin.destination.com.lb and click on phone bill control. This service will assist you to track your usage.

Can I still use the 6-Digit dial-up numbers?  (back to top)
Yes, at regular tarrifs.

What is OGERO's new Internet Line and how much does it cost?  (back to top)
The new Internet Line is a new service that will be offered by OGERO in 2003. You can only buy the Internet Line if you have an existing phone line. This line could only dial 4-Digit numbers or receive phone calls. Its installation costs L.L.50,000 and its subscription fee is L.L.5,000 per month. This line is important for those who do not wish to keep their fixed line number busy while connecting to the Internet. You would still need to buy Destination refills and connect to Destination when you buy the Internet line once it is available.
